Looking for a tasteful Mother's Day gift? CSY is selling our Waterdam Church cookbooks "From Thy Bounty" in the church foyer for $15. These attractive books contain nearly 400 recipes from our church family and friends. Perfect for all moms, teachers, coaches, family and friends!
Do you have seamstress capabilities? We are in need of a few people to help make Roman Shades for the sanctuary and offices. Please contact the church office if you would be able to help.
Children's Ministry Needs Your Help! We are in need of volunteers to help this summer on Sunday mornings for all ages. If you are able to help, please sign up in the church foyer or contact the church office.
Baptism Class - There will be a Baptism Class offered on Saturday, May 10 at 9:00 a.m. If you are interested in getting baptized, please check the Baptism box on the back of the Welcome Card and drop it in the offering basket on Sunday morning or contact the church office. There will be a Baptism on Sunday, May 18.
Do you enjoy spending time in the garden? We are in need of people to regularly help take care of assigned flower beds on the church grounds. Please contact the church office if interested.
Quarter Backing - CSY is handing out containers of M&M's on Sunday mornings for you to enjoy and to help them raise money for their summer mission trip. All you have to do is take a container of M&M's the next time you come to church, eat all of the M&M's and then fill the container with quarters. Please return them by Sunday, May 18.
Fun Fore All - CSY (grades 7-12) will be going to Fun Fore All in Cranberry Twp. on Saturday, May 10. Invite your friends and come enjoy Go-Karts, Mini Golf, Batting Cages and more! Cost is $20 per students which includes dinner. They will be leaving the church at 2:00 p.m. and returning at 8:00 p.m.
Peters Township Community Day - Waterdam Church will have a booth at the Peters Township Community Day on Saturday, June 28. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are in need of volunteers to help put up and take down the tent and talk to visitors about our church and VBS program. Volunteers will be scheduled for 1-2 hours. Please sign up in the church foyer or contact the church office if able to help. There will be a meeting of volunteers on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. We will discuss logistics of the day and organizational issues.
Carwash - There will be a carwash on Saturday, May 24 at Bruster's Ice Cream in McMurray from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Come out and support our youth as they work to raise funds for their summer mission trip.
Golf Outing and Picnic - Join us for a day of Golf and Fellowship! All golfers and beginners are invited to a day of golf on Friday, June 13. Tee time is at 12:30 p.m. at Lone Pine Country Club on Rt. 18 S, Washington, PA. Cost is $45 per golfer. All participants and their families are invited to join us for a picnic at the Emmett's home, just a few minutes up the hill from the golf course. Non golfers are certainly welcome to join us for the picnic as well. Please sign up for the picnic, golf or both in the church foyer or contact the church office.
Vacation Bible School will be Sunday, July 20 - Thursday, July 24. Mark your calendars! Our theme is "Jerusalem Marketplace - Holy Land Adventure". All children, ages 4 through 6th grade, and their friends are invited to join us! For more details go to the calendar tab and click on Children's Ministry Events.
